This 1948 Lincoln Continental is equipped with a 1955 331 Hemi with triple nickel heads. It was a running driving vehicle in the 1960s that was parked for minor restoration/upholstery work. Recently awakened from a 42 year sleep, the vehicle has been professionally started and will run. The master cylinder is frozen, the body is excellent, with no rust, has some rust in one floor pan, but extremely solid. The upholstery has been removed and all seats have been recovered in blue as pictured with enough material to complete the door handles etc. The dash is very nice, all stainless is great, hub caps very nice, grill and tail lights show pitting. Bumpers are complete with an extra rear face bar. Trunk hinges and locks have been misplace and will not come with the car as is the case for some front seat hardware. The fender skirts with trim and tire ring and face plate. This is a very nice example of a quite desirable early Lincoln and an easy restoration project.
Car is Sold AS-IS in Litchfield, MI for $9,200
